Righto, so who's going?

I'm going up Saturday morning (lots of room in my car if anyone wants a lift), coming back Sunday for the boat party and then, assuming I still have the energy, driving back up to catch the last few sets.

I'd like to attach myself to someone's campsite, anyone keen?

WOW!!!!

You're keen! Sheeesh!

We will keep a spot for you, lovely lady. We'll no doubt be convoying Sat morning quite early.

Adey & I will have a volunteer thingomy so can take up stuff to block off a campsite (as we will be able to jump the cue). If we don't get our usual spot in bush camp, I imagine we'll head to top camp, just behind the ferris wheel. Box Hill, I think?

Wrong. Most of the time.

Re: Golden Plains

oooh G. What's your shift? I'm on reception 4:00-8:30.
Pray tell, you might be too?

I was VERY relieved to see I am not Missing Mogwai, You AM I, THE CHURCH (w00t) in particular Smile

If you choose to convoy with us, it would be handy as you could help stake out some spots til the plebs get in Smile

Oh.. you already said the bit about the convoy! Tee Hee

Not sure if anyone has organised a lift up there for Doggy as yet. Doubt it as the boys aren't coming....

So, if need be, can we squeeze him into your car? (He and Bres arrive home on Thursday morning! - double w00t!)

Wrong. Most of the time.

Re: Golden Plains

yes of course! would be good to have company on the drive Smile

I'm on 4-8 or 8.30 too, something like that. I'm doing crowd assistance or some such, not sure exactly what it is but sounds like making sure people are ok, which should be fine so early in proceedings.

Re: Golden Plains

FUCK YEAH!

that was the shizzle. totally up there with some of the better times spent in the ampitheatre.

standouts for me were Mogwai, Pivot, Dan Deacon, and Dan Kelly. Fucking hell Dan Kelly was hilarious. perfect for first thing sunday morn when we were feeling a bit shite.
You am I were a bit shit, but they busted out a couple of the old faves. I listened to the Drones from the comfort of my van and unfortunately missed gary numan, which I heard was unfuckingbelievable, as I was all tuckered out. the only time clean living wasn't so good to me...

The weather was kick arse, but prolly cos Tailz and i spent an hour tying the fucking marquee down so hard it wasn't going to end up trashed.

oh the good times... Laughing out loud

Re: Golden Plains

good times indeed. With a capital FUCK YEAH!!!!

Throat rape assassins in full force - still trying to regain my voice!

Highlights = all of the above PLUS GARY FUCKING NEWMAN! Happy birthday, son... that was FABULOUS!

DJs after Gary were unbelieveably fun times too!

Thanks to all those hilarious peeps who rocked on through Monday morning.

I have not laughed my ass off quite so hard........ ever!
