i rekon RRR is still pretty fuckin good.
no shite music (though i do miss the pirate shantys of a tuesdee arvo), and the presenters actually have brains in their skulls unlike most other FM stations - well the commercial ones anyways.
i rekon the best part is that the variety of tunes you hear, they easily cane any other station i have ever listented to. earlier today they were playing rock type stuff, now we got some swingin jazz stylee.

actually everything that RRR have i think radio national do just as well,
well i suppose they dont push the grungey rock side that much
but i have heard amazing dub and reggae, very cool abstract contempory and even artists like aphex twin being played. i always thought radio national was just for old poeple

i miss zzz in brissie, a variety of alternative (non jjj) stuff all day then the genre shows at night, but cos they can never get their shit together to do anything without upsetting some leftist minority group or other or worrying about same , or being all anarchist and not using windows based computers, but having only one person who comes in for an hour a month who understand linux it's still not streamed. stupid hippie anarcho commos
