is that a joke or what? the great master of the crocodile taken out by a sting ray?
holy shit
No joke...
Strange I just recieved three emails & a text telling me in the minutes in took to see Drew's post.
He had a good run considering the risk factor.
crickey.
I wonder whether his kid will grow up and try to avenge her father's death.
The stingray hunter... pisser.. but not
R.I.P
yeh crikey alright.... it must have been a big one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the stingray was probably a fish-tv star called the crocodile-hunter hunter

;D
Got told after lunch today and I was feeling shocked for some reason. I was then about to ask how, whilst my mind juggled whether I should make a sick joke or not, when I was told exacxtly how he died and realised that my joke would have been somewhat true!
Kind of like one of the 'Jackass' guys dying from choking on a stapler or something...
fuck news travels fast ay?
we've already made up about 10 jokes about this, i think steve was waving his kid in a sharks mouth when a nasty string ray who steve had once referred to as "mostly harmless" snuck up on him ninja style. then he struck in the gloom of the dark, sandy reef they were on, footscray train station style
the crocodile- hunter hunter may have got in trouble with the fish-media as his stingray baby was in the vacinity
yeah fully, he'd been feeding some gaint squid when he heard a distinct "crikey" coming from the reef
now i feel bad
word drew - he's been a champion for protecting wildlife and keeping ockerisms alive. the ocker in us all needs to feel wanted and nutured.
like fuck the ocker just wants a beer a bong and a root mate.
he has a very good point, and I wish celebs would start speaking out about this. but who would?
murdoch would censor it anyway to keep us reading and hearing about how money and replacing everything every three months are the real things worth holding dear

I feel bad for his family .. people will miss him ...
Poor poor bastard ...
As much as he was kind of annoying ... I feel a little sad knowing he is dead ... he was entertaining!
they had an old interview with steve denton and had the man bought land to preserve natural habitat, using his platform to educate.
this really appeals to the hippie in me so i'm not gonna say anymore at all about the killer stingray.
except they were in it with the crocs, the cunts.
it's all about bringing back the dinosaurs, i hear from my lizard sources
more later, not too much information at one time, you'll explode

In 2003, he spoke to the ABC's Australian Story about how he was perceived in his country.
"When I see what's happened all over the world, they're looking at me as this very popular, wildlife warrior Australian bloke," he said.
"And yet back here in my own country, some people find me a little bit embarrassing.
"You know, there's this... they kind of cringe, you know, 'cause I'm coming out with 'Crikey' and 'Look at this beauty'.
"Just say what you're gonna say, mate. You know, is it a cultural cringe? Is it, they actually see a little bit of themselves when they see me, and they find that a little embarrassing?
"I'm fair dinkum, like kangaroos and Land Cruisers, winged keels and bloody flies! I think we've lost all that. I think we've all become very, sort of, money people."
He also spoke of his love for surfing.
"You get out there, it's just you against the waves.
"There's no paparazzi, there's no fan base, and it gives me a chance to recuperate and regenerate.
"I think I've actually got animals so genetically inside me that there's no way I could actually be anything else.
"I think my path would have always gone back to or delivered me to wildlife. I think wildlife is just like a magnet, and it's something that I can't help."
RIP MATE
