i guess this stood out for me because im working heaps and busy at school and all i can think about is fucking how much homework i have, how i have to still move heaps of my shit into the warehouse and get some sleep at some stage... might be time to party.
I think I may continue with the Huxley theme for the moment:
"If we could sniff or swallow something that would, for five or six hours each day, abolish our solitude as individuals, atone us with our fellows in a glowing exaltation of affection and make life in all its aspects seem not only worth living, but divinely beautiful and significant, and if this heavenly, world-transfiguring drug were of such a kind that we could wake up next morning with a clear head and an undamaged constitution-then, it seems to me, all our problems (and not merely the one small problem of discovering a novel pleasure) would be wholly solved and earth would become paradise."
ALDOUS HUXLEY
1894 - 1963
and something a little lighter:
"I always keep a supply of stimulant handy in case I see a snake - which I also keep handy."
W. C. Fields, quoted in Corey Ford's Time of Laughter
"I am always prepared to reconise that there can be two points of view - mine and one that is probably wrong." John Gorton.
thats great will... i can so relate

"The recipe for perpetual ignorance is: be satisfied with your opinions and content with your knowledge."
Elbert Hubbard (1856 - 1915)
How 'bout this:
"When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading."

or this:
"Why not go out on a limb? Isn't that where the fruit is?"

or:
"Reality is nothing but a collective hunch."
- Lily Tomlin
and:
"Remember there is a big difference between kneeling down and bending over."
- Frank Zappa
I hope you all enjoyed these. I got heaps more, but these seemed the most relevant.
Enjoy this too:
"This is what I think CBS, the producers of the Letterman show, the networks and governments fear the most - that one man free, expressing his own thoughts and point of view, might somehow inspire others to think for themselves and listen to that voice of reason inside them, and then perhaps, one by one we will awaken from this dream of lies and illusions that the world, the governments and their propaganda arm, the mainstream media, feeds us continuously over fifty-two channels, twenty-four hours a day.
What I realised was that they don't want the people to be awake. The elite ruling class wants us asleep so we'll remain a docile, apathetic herd of passive consumers and non-participants in the true agendas of our governments, which is to keep us separate and present an image of a world filled with unresolvable problems, that they, and only they, might somewhere, in the never-arriving future, may be able to solve. Just stay asleep, America. Keep watching television. Keep paying attention to the infinite witnesses of illusion we provide you over 'Lucifer?s Dream Box'."

"No drug, not even alcohol, causes the fundamental ills of society. If we're looking for the sources of our troubles, we shouldn't test people for drugs, we should test them for stupidity, ignorance, greed and love of power."

If it weren't for time, we would all live forever... and not even realise it. - me when i was trashed
"The act of consuming the forbidden fruit was politicized by the mere fact that it was illegal. When you smoked marijuana, you immediately became aware of the glaring contradiction between the way you experienced reality in your own body and the official descriptions by the government and the media. That pot was not the big bugaboo that it had been cracked up to be was irrefutable evidence that the authorities either did not tell the truth or did not know what they were talking about. Its continued illegality was proof that lying and/or stupidity was a cornerstone of government policy. When young people got high, they knew this existentially, from the inside out. They saw through the great hoax, the cover story concerning not only the narcotics laws but the entire system. Smoking dope was thus an important political catalyst, for it enabled many a budding radical to begin questioning the official mythology of the governing class."

TRUE bra, no doubt u would have learnt about some of the wicked electronics and EM weapons.. patents of which have been around long before we were born.. for example. transmit a "voice in the head" to a young revolutionary or even fuck with the visual part of their brain to make them think they see things... No point me putting any references to these patents or offical documents, if you know whats happening u do, if u dont, you dont.. :)
Its disapointing there are the people who know about a few levels of brainwashing and "mind control" techniques and technologies but there are the deeper levels which most people are often too scared to admit exist and are used more often than anyone would beleive.
If "they" can make u think your hearing and seeing god (and trust me, they can and do!) then what hope have we (ppl who care about ppl not money) got to change the world for the better? Im not pesimistic im just looking at things how they are.. the bigger picture so to speak cuz. and i love electronics and know they have the tech. man!
Nice to see you could come to the table of intelligent thought rather than moronic assumptions.
However, I feel that this quote from Bill Hicks is not too be taken too literally. This quote is probably more in relation to media censorship rather than any form of "mind control".
I am however intruiged as to where you got this information in relation to electronic weapons that can transmit "voices into your head". I suppose I'm still a little skeptical too. Can you please refer me to your source of information as I would love to read more.
Cheers!
the wicked electronics and EM weapons..... transmit a "voice in the head" to a young revolutionary or even fuck with the visual part of their brain to make them think they see things
Me too, Scotto - would LOVE to read some more (but I guess I don't know, so I jsut don't know
)
It would be possible, mayyyyybe...
Except, the hardest thing would be to non-invasively submit these electrical signals (without needles probing the specific areas of the brain) and create the right frequency of action in relevant neural pathways to create the illusions... [on a side note: is an illusion an illusion if the brain actually perceives it?]
*back on track* See the electrical potentials of the brain follow the path of least resistance through the meninges, csf and skull (IE when recording EEG from the skull)... so using a weapon to create "voices" or visual hallucinations would be a well interesting little piece of tecnology, yet fairly innacurate, I would guess.
How do they work? Are they like point and shoot style weapons? He he... *intrigued*
NLP seems so much more effective...
i think this one is quite apt here.

yes brez this is aimed at you.
yeh fanks cuz, I just seen that it was THE GOD bill hickses quote after i posted my comment.. I ALWAYS COME ON THIS BOARD EARLY IN THE MORNING, ME BRAIN USUALLY NOT 2 fresh bra! but anyway
of course u can transmit hallucinations and voices with probes and stuff attached to the head.. but with enough watts u can do it remotely.. there is one source, mayb not the best, but its a stream u can listen to.. as ur educated selfs would obviously know, never trust one source, so if u really want.. look up the patents i cant remember.. probly hvae some shit on my archive CD's somewhere but CBF searching.
heres one fing to get u started anyway braZ!
http://rense1.soundwaves2000.com:8080/ramgen/sw_archives/rense/rense06-3...
it says its an mpFREE but i fink its a stream. This interview is quite good and dont immediately dismiss RENSE as an extremist paranoia site.. mayb some of the UFO shit is far fetched i wouldnt know. lol but if u want u could build a device like this relatively cheaply and Im sure it would be great fun to fuck with certain people, however, mayb the powers that be might not like us to use their technology against them A.
take care bruddas!
PS: words are just that. words.
hey u cunts are priveledged and shit.. im wrote this for use: (well not really, but im posting it for use at least aye!)
31-MAY-04
lying in my bed envious of my sleeping partner
I intentionally listen to white noise on the radio
the need to write is felt and acknowledged
nothing important, well, not really
when u stare into your dark room what is it you see and think?
Is the room black, blank seemingly empty
Like your mind?
its like when you stare into the blue sky, if ever you do, that is
there is no "pitch black" or "clear blue"
especially when one looks more deeply
there are colors.. patterns and shapes
dont be scared of the dark, its a kal-HIDE-a-scope of fun
the doctors cant blame drug abuse or head injuries
at four years old it was the same as today
EMBRACE SENSORY DEPRIVATION!!
silence soon is replaced with a hum
A signal of some form
its quite pleasant when u get accustomed to it..
relaxing almost..
much more so than the constant interference which consumers allow to pump from their televisions
DONT FEAR SILENCE or the dark or a lack of TRUE friends
the best most real truth is taught to us while in these day dream like states
and never forget, you arent hallucinating
your eyes arent playing tricks on you
what you see is at least more real than reality TV I TELL YOU!!
Any day,
Id be happier listening to white noise thatn the black evil noise of big brother, wouldnt you?
Dont just read between the lines of a newspaper
SEE BETWEEN THE CHANNELS! There is more entertainment in those little BLACK AND WHITE DOTS FOR FUCKS SAKE!!!!!!
peace cuzins and braz
Oh, but idiots are so much fun to play with, Will-ze-bub!!
Fuck!!! THe stupid bkspc key made me loose my whole response and now I CBF.
You think it was the NSA subliminally trying to stop me from ahving my say???
AAARRRGHHGH!!
Scotto: read this http://www.rense.com/political/weapons/nsa.html and I'll tell you all the things so very wrong with it when I see you next...
You to, Q69, if I ever meet you...
Interesting...............
I'll take that on board with the Loch Ness Monster shall I?
But seriously, I would love to discuss the merits of such a premise. Especially with someone who I feel could tell me when I am making an incorrect assumption.
Oh, and a Quote or two:
"In the fight between you and the world, back the world."
- Frank Zappa
"Rarely is the question asked: is our children learning"
- President George W. Bush, Jr. (in Florence, SC 11 January, 2000)
Alright people, been loving this tangeant, but this is one of the very few threads (possibly with the exception of 'for all the perverted chicken fuckers') on this site that has a little intellectual merit so I think I may continue with the quotes.
“A society that will trade a little liberty for a little order will lose both, and deserve neither” - Thomas Jefferson
“Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves” - Ronald Reagan
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever does” - Margaret Mead
And one from my hero:
“There ought to be limits to freedom.” - Texas Gov. George W. Bush
