Anyone go to the secret MySpace show tonight that was for free, for 400 punters, at the Prince of Wales?
I even checked my MySpace this arvo too (just didn't check the friggin' bulletins did I) >:(

so glad i missed this
jet made a good or great record whichever you look at
pity that they were pretty average live, and were the most derivative rock band to ever record anything.
i remember listening to the album at work before they'd released it and thinking fuck this is the best covers album ever - i was naming the songs the riffs were nicked from...
so jet? who cares, no-one talks about them anymore, when i first came here it seemed everyone knew or were mate's with someone who knew them.... yawn wow, a band. how quaint.
typical tall poppy syndrome? or is everyone really over it?
does anyone want more recycled riffs?
are there any good one's left to recycle?
great songs, don't care though... couldn't pull it off live - in other words. shite.

I agree, live is where it is at. I am not a huge fan - I would have just loved to have seen them for free to see if they can pull it off.
Seems they can't, though, so I guess they can pull it off - just not the music
