Hi,

Studies for Healthy Volunteers;

HPV V505-001, testing a vaccine for Human Paoilloma virus (HPV). ?HPV is linked to cervical cancer, this vaccine hopes to protect women from more strains of the HPV than those vaccines currently available. ?Volunteers needed; Females, 18-26 years, This study requires 12 visits over a 36 month period, reimbursement of $100 per visit.

SPC P05174, this study is investigating a new drug developed to reduce the incidence and severity of a condition called [ch8220]restless leg syndrome.[ch8221] ?Volunteers needed; Males, 18-55 years, non-smokers, two inpatient stays of 3 nights each separated by a period of 14 days, reimbursement of $1575.

BMS CV 197001, this study is investigating a new drug that has been developed to remove cholesterol from plaques formed in blood vessels and therefore may result in less coronary heart disease. This study is somewhat more demanding as it will require the participants to have an MRI and ultrasound as part of the screening process (which we will pay for) and interested participants must also be available to do a second period early in 2008. ?Volunteers needed; Males, 18-45 years, non-smoker, Period 1=6 night stay, if chosen to do Period 2=18 night stay, however not all participants who complete Period 1 will be required to complete Period 2, Please note that you cannot do Period 2 unless you have completed Period 1 as stated, reimbursement of $1887.50 for Period 1 & Period 2 $5587.50.

NES05, testing the delivery of a contraceptive as a spray, through the skin. Volunteers needed; postmenopausal females, 45-65 years. This study requires 18 one hour visits, over 18 days and an overnight stay, reimbursement of $1200.

BTA 9881-01, testing a new medication to treat Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) infection. ?Volunteers needed; male & females, 18-45 years, non-smokers. ?This study requires 4 night stay & 5 outpatient visits, reimbursement of $1420.

AMG853, testing an oral drug being developed to treat people with Asthma. ?Volunteers needed; Males, 18-45 years, non-smoker. ?This study requires 2 night stay & 5 outpatient visits, reimbursement of about $800.

GAR6686, a drug being developed as an anti-arrhythmic drug. ?Volunteers needed; Males, 18-45years, non-smokers. ?This study requires 3 nights & 2 outpatient visits over 5 periods.

Studies for those with a specific condition;

GS-US-207-0102, testing an experimental drug delivered via an electronic nebulizer. Volunteers needed; Male and females with Cystic fibrosis and Bronchiectasis, 18-65 years. This study requires 5 day visits, reimbursement of $1500.

TYPE 2 DIABETES STUDY, testing new medication for type 2 diabetes. ?Volunteers needed; Male & Females, 18-70 years, non-smokers, Must not be on two types of diabetic medication. ?This study requires 3 nights and then 2 nights three days later and 3 outpatient visits OR 10 nights and 2 outpatient visits, reimbursement of about $1500.

Before participation in any of the above studies volunteers will be asked study specific inclusion and exclusion criteria question over the phone. Volunteers who meet the inclusion criteria for a study will then attend a [ch8220]Medical Screening[ch8221], ?this is an appointment visit where you take part in a thorough medical examination with our G.P.

for some of them if you haven't had a smoke for a week or month before you go in they are fine with it. its not your breathe they want it is a lack of other drugs in your body

fuck that for joke.  totally fuck that for a joke.  I bet you have have to sign a million documents totally negating any chance of compensation should something go horribly wrong.  the people testing you would have no liability whatsoever.

you get all medical bills paid for if something goes wrong plus if you become disabled not only wil you get a government pension but one from the drug company too. so you win either way. i know a lot of people who weekend after weekend pay to make themselves retarded,it just makes sense to get paid for it  ;)
