I'm sure most of you are already aware of this but the government is currently trialling isp level internet filtering and are committed to making it mandatory Australia wide.

Now is the time to take action.
Check out  http://nocleanfeed.com for more information.

Here is bbc code you can add to your sig on any forums you are on to help spread the word.

Do you really think this will happen Ren? It seems like a highly futile exercise by the government that is not gaining any support from either the public or any isps.

Besides.....how else am I supposed to get child bestiality.......with home-made explosives?

A couple of months ago when I posted this there wasn't that much public awareness of this issue, I think now through campaigns such as this and lobbying by the ISPs that's starting to change so hopefully you are right.

I would say its definitely a possibility its exactly the sort of legislation that politicians like.  Short term policy's that are easy to implement and make them appear to be taking action on emotive voter issues such as child abuse.

This policy is being pushed by conservatives such as Steve Fielding from Family First who they have to rely on to be able to pass legislation in the senate such as ending work choices.
